All our pressure point relief mattresses have been designed and made in Melbourne. From infused gel to open cell channelled foams, zoned pocket springs to mini pocket spring support systems. All support systems are designed to suit individual needs and budgets. Some of us can sleep on a hammock and then there is the rest of us. Most pressure point problems stem from the hips, shoulders and lower back not to mention the neck, which in many cases can also be a pillow issue.
Do’s and Don’ts when selecting a new Pressure Point Relief mattress.
Sometimes less is more, a good example is the five to ten zone mattress. The concept sounds great “BUT” reality is, if you move in your sleep and don’t sleep on the zones correctly you can encounter more pressure point problems than you started with.
Buyer beware of the hype with computer sleep diagnostics or adjustable beds. A computer cannot tell you what is comfortable nor can it tell you where your individual pressure point issues are coming from. The adjustable mattress is another marketing wonder. Just imagine you’re on your back and the adjustable mattress has been set for that position; what happens when you change to your “side sleeping position”? Your body shape changes but what happens to the mattress?
